Process at a Glance
Register your training and apply for a facility permit with the College.
Obtain approval from the Director of X-Ray Safety at the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care to install the dental CT scanner.
Obtain letter of designation.
Within six months, fulfill the requirement for an annual facility permit. This includes providing the College with specified written information and successfully completing an on-site inspection of the facility to confirm that it is in full compliance with all aspects of the Standard.
Submit letter of approval or letter of designation to the College to obtain a provisional permit.
Ensure that dental CT scanner passes all acceptance tests and that on-site training has been obtained prior to use.
